I get influenced of ancient history, mostly Egyptian, when I create my many layered, fresco-like paintings.
I admire ancient Egyptian’s geometrically systematic expression and definite conception of shape.
I have studied history of Egypt from the times of pharaohs since I was a child. Earlier I concentrated mainly to facinating pictures and symbols, at present I try to understand signifigance and mysterious messages that they tell.
My painting process is a very personal event; the atmosphere and my mood are the things that create the final impression and story. Yet I hope and believe that I can transmit at least a part of these senses to other people.
